A Little Country

Up Top:

This look was so fun to put together! It started with the vest (Tahoe vest from Piphany) that I was style testing for my friend, and by the way, it’s super comfortable and has POCKETS-ahem.. yeah.

So, this vest is a pretty neutral color and print, like a beige, gray, black, very wide striped, and not super busy. This easily goes well with a busier small scales print (Pattern Mixing 101 here), so I picked this LuLaRoe Irma tunic, which has a black and navy background, tan busy small scale print, and medium scale floral print. The two prints balance each other out and don’t overpower one another. The lighter colored vest is a good contrast to the darker tunic underneath. My necklace is a Snake Twist piece, twisted into a similar design to my tunic, and it is also super fun to play with when I get fidgety 😂

For my purse, I picked my Sseko Sheba bag since the caramel color is just, gorgeous. It’s such a beautifully constructed purse, made with high quality genuine leather, medium sized, removable crossbody strap, and is fully lined with interior pockets. This bag is HAND MADE in Ethiopia, with ethically sourced materials throughout Africa.
