Head to Toe & Inspiration

582EBD5E-8FB9-4ED5-A6ED-F42C647A904DEvery day, from start to finish, I’m always thinking about what I want to wear next. What inspires my next look? Everything and anything I come across can plant the seed, from  social media, co-workers, people watching, a piece of jewelry, a commercial, a coffee mug… to a cute keychain? Literally, everything.

So, since it’s a large part of my lifestyle, I am very excited to share with you blog posts on my looks and the details surrounding how I put it together. Sometimes they’re very simple, other times I put a lot of thought into it.

I am always planning a complete look, head to toe, and my daily checklist is:

  • Hair & Makeup
  • Clothing pieces
  • Overall Silhouette
  • Jewelry
  • Bag/Purse
  • Shoes

This is often a reason why I run late to things (fashionably late, as they say right?), but if I run out of that door not feeling put together, you know my day is going to be starting off a little.. discombobulated, to say the least.

If you take anything away from this, it’s “START THE DAY OFF FEELING GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF”, the rest will follow.

Expression through Fashion

Processed with FocosSelf-confidence is something that I strongly believe is the most important attribute to have in all areas of your life, even with your personal style. You can wear the most beautiful dress, or carry the most expensive bag, but if you don’t feel good about yourself, it doesn’t mean anything. If you can’t figure out your personal style, try them all out! Find the ones that make you feel the best, and roll with it. I have transitioned through many phases over the years from tomboy to girly, from urban to country, and finally, a very unique blend of styles.

Yes, I do have two direct selling businesses, LuLaRoe and Sseko Designs, but I’m a firm believer that just because I sell it, doesn’t mean I have to abandon the other brands. I do have MORE of LuLa and Sseko, but they’re not my only closet dwellers =). I’ve got comfortable, versatile, and sustainable fashion covered!

Here are some of the fashion brands you’ll recognize in my posts:

  • LuLaRoe
  • Sseko Designs
  • Lucky Brand
  • Ralph Lauren
  • Abercrombie & Fitch
  • Aritzia store brands (Wilfred, Community, Babton)
  • Sperry Topsider
  • KEEP Collective
  • Pandora Jewelry
  • Francesca’s
  • Kate Spade
  • Smaller boutique store brands

I love discovering new companies, so definitely let me know if there’s one I should check out!

As for personal style..

I have multiple styles I rotate through and mix together, and they all make me feel my best:

  • Business casual/chic
  • Urban casual/chic
  • Western casual/chic
  • Bohemian/Boho chic
  • Preppy/Trendy/Sophisticated/Girly

The list can go on, but I’ve been told more than once that I have a very eclectic range of styles that all work for me. If I want to wear it, I wear it (Because, who cares what other people think?)

IMG_7503The key is to wear it confidently, just own it! My goal is to inspire other women to break out of their shells, and express themselves through fashion! It’s safe to say that as long as you’re not intentionally hurting or offending anyone with your choice of fashion, just do it. If you see something you like, try it!

Obviously, I’d love to be your stylist if you have any questions!
